Katherine Rossy a obtenu un doctorat en histoire à l’Université Queen Mary University of London (Royaume Uni) en 2018, ou elle a été titulaire d’une bourse doctorale Joseph-Armand Bombardier Canada. Elle a ensuite été titulaire d’une bourse postdoctorale du Conseil de recherches en sciences humaines à l’Université Carleton à Ottawa. Son expertise porte sur la Deuxième Guerre mondiale et le début de la Guerre froide, en particulier en ce qui concerne l’histoire de l’humanitarisme, les droits de la personne et le droit des conflits armés. Elle travaille actuellement sur une histoire internationale de l'évolution de l'aide humanitaire des Nations Unies sur tous les théâtres de conflit pendant et immédiatement après la Deuxième Guerre mondiale. Dr. Rossy accueille les candidats à la supervision des cycles supérieurs dont les projets explorent les aspects de la guerre et de la paix, de l'humanitarisme et des droits de la personne.
